US Code of Federal Regulations(10 CFR 430)has been clearly decided:All external power supplies entering the US market,should meet the minimum energy efficiency level:level IVand clearly marked on the product。Not only that,It is also mandatory for manufacturers、Brand business directionDOESubmit two important declaration documents。The first is a declaration of compliance with the energy efficiency requirements of federal regulations.(Compliance Statement),第二是產品的首次证书报告(First Certification Report),两份文件均须透过邮寄方式,递送至USA能源部(DOE, Department of Energy)。
文件准备需按照DOE公佈之格式填写,in证书报告可委由第三方单位代表製造商/品牌商提交。文件上提报之资讯应涵盖每个单一型号的產品类别(product class)、製造商/品牌商名称、效能(%)、无载时功率消耗(W)及额定输出功率(W)。
